We return to Publeo, once again. This time we run the Pueblo marathon.
Race Report: Pueblo Marathon
The course is entirely concrete which was a first for us and really beat us up. I tell you, asphalt never felt so soft in all my life.
The course is exposed the entire way, and only the first half of the course is worth seeing. The view of the dam is really cool and it was far more scenic than I expected. As a Colorado native, the second half toured central Pueblo and gave me an eyeful of exactly what I expected. It’s Pueblo.
As a Mad Moose event, the aid stations were well stocked and the volunteers were as friendly as ever.
