I ran my first 50-mile race, Kickers for Kids: Front Range 50 Mile. Loved it.

Race Report: Kickers for Kids: Front Range 50 Mile

A mix of hardpack and concrete/asphalt. Rolling hills downhill to the turnaround and rolling hills uphill back to the finish. A fairly exposed course with two long 9-mile stretches without aid stations (once out and once back). Be sure to bring plenty of water for these sections and expect to be in the sun all day.
