We run the Angel Fire Marathon. Annie drops at the halfway point due to something funny happening to her hip. This was a good decision because the injury took a week to heal. Not to mention that the second half of this race is brutal.
Race Report: Angel Fire Adventure Marathon
The front half is more rolling hills than you would expect by looking at the course elevation. The second half begins with a brutal uphill for several miles and ends going back up a similar incline. The course is almost entirely exposed. Not at a tremendous elevation but most “out of towners” had trouble with the thin air.
